Jigsaw Support launched

Published on: Wednesday 10th July 2019

Wednesday, 10 July, saw the launch of Jigsaw Support, bringing together all of Jigsaw Group's existing support, homelessness, domestic abuse, community and prevention services under one umbrella. This includes our own Motiv8 programme that is funded by The National Lottery Community Fund and the European Social Fund.

Other services that are moving to Jigsaw Support include:

  • All existing Threshold services
  • Housing First
  • Bridges
  • InspireHousing Advice (Tameside and Knowsley)
  • All supported housing across East and West
  • Tameside Women & Their Families Centre

This is an exciting time for Jigsaw Group as it means that we can put greater focus on helping the most vulnerable within our communities by improving our existing support services whilst extending our offer through new contracts.

Jigsaw Group Chief Executive Hilary Roberts said: “Jigsaw Support provides us with a real opportunity to bring all of our existing services together; to share our best practice, to deliver quality interventions, and continue to develop new and innovative initiatives in the future.”

A launch event hosted at the Group’s Head Office in Ashton-under-Lynne on Wednesday 10 July gave the opportunity for commissioners, key stakeholders and Jigsaw Group employees to find out more about the services Jigsaw Support is offering.

As well as a new website at https://support.jigsawhomes.org.uk/, there is also a new Twitter handle @SupportByJigsaw where you can keep up to date with all the latest news from Jigsaw Support.
